Sleeping Tabby Cat Jewelry Dish with Hydrangea flowers and Gold Accent

Regular price $265.00 $0.00 Unit price per

A tiny little gray tabby cat is curled up sleeping on pink hydrangea florets, creating a magical little spot for your rings or small jewelry.

This ceramic dish is made from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and kiln-fired once more at approximately 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. The delicate botanical imprints are from real hydrangea leaves and florets. The tiny sweet tabby cat is meticulously handpainted and is the charming centerpiece of the dish.

The glaze is a glossy soft clear. Real 22kt gold overglaze is applied to the rim in a special process, and the dish is fired a third time to bond the gold to the piece. It's a labor intensive process that gives a special finishing touch.

This jewelry holder is handmade from start to finish, entirely by me in my California studio. Each piece is a labor of love that I hope will bring light and joy into your home.

Measurements:
Approximately 5 inches wide

Each tabby cat is painted slightly differently since each is individually sculpted and painted. Slight variations and organic shapes in handcrafted ceramics are what make them perfectly unique pieces of art.

An absolute Treasure!

The little dishes are made with so much care and love behind them. They make me smile every time I see them. I have one by each of my sinks. I have also gifted some, Certain to be heirlooms for future generations. Thank you Deana for sharing your creativity. Hugs from Texas!
