Tiny Guardian: Pink Sea Turtle, Ceramic Sculpture with 22kt Gold Accents
Little meaningful sculptures sit on my nightstand and around my work area - they are tiny guardians and companions, always bringing me a smile when I see them. I wanted to share that with you with these tiny sculptures.
The sea turtle is one of the oldest animals on earth and one of most popular spirit animals. The sea turtle symbolizes determination, endurance, and calmness. Their shells are a reminder of our own spiritual shields.
The tiny turtle is sculpted entirely by hand. The piece is hand painted, glazed, and fired to 2200 degrees F for full maturity. The shell is a pale pink, and the turtle is various shades of green. The underside is unglazed. Real gold accents are added to the turtle's shell in a separate firing, giving a deserved sacred representation of the turtle sparkling with gold.
The turtle is approximately 1 3/4 inches (1.75 inches) from head to feet/flippers
