Regular price $185.00 $0.00 Unit price per

Rosemary symbolizes love, loyalty, and remembrance - honoring those we love now, and those we once loved whom we hold dearly in our memories. This small ceramic dish captures the beautiful texture of real rosemary leaves. An antique crackled glaze is used - to capture both the nostalgia of rosemary, and to evoke the dreamlike feeling of memory. The dish is perfect for jewelry or trinkets, or just for display.  The ceramic dish is imprinted with real rosemary sprigs. The textured rim is accented with real 22kt gold.

This ceramic dish is made from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and kiln-fired once more at approximately 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. The glazes are blues and greens, mixing together in a crackled glass finish, a beautiful kiln fired ceramic finish that shows off the intricate detail of the rosemary leaves. Please note that crackled glazes are not classified as food safe because of the fine cracks that can hold moisture.

Real 22kt gold is applied to the edge and then fired a third time to bond the gold to the piece. It is a labor intensive process that is worth the extra step.

Measurements: Approximately 5 inches wide

These pieces are individually made by hand from start to finish, and slight variations and organic shapes are what makes them perfectly unique. Please allow for slight variations as each piece is made of actual leaves and composed individually. Please note that crackled glazes are not classified as food safe because of the fine cracks that can hold moisture.
