Rainbow Dandelion Seed Head, with 22kt gold accents
The rainbow dandelion represents a joyful memory of a loved one. The dandelion and its floating seeds are a powerful symbolism of freedom and boundlessness. This small ceramic dish is perfect for small jewelry, trinkets, a special ring, or an incense cone. The ceramic dish is imprinted with a real dandelion with seeds floating into the sky. The dandelion is enhanced with hand-carving that is hand painted. The rim is accented with real 22kt gold.
This dandelion ceramic dish is made from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and high-fired once more at approximately 2100 degrees Fahrenheit. The glaze is a glossy warm white with the beauty of a high fired ceramic, showing off the intricate detail of the dandelion seed head which has been enhanced with delicate carving and coloring of the clay. A real 22kt gold overglaze is applied and then fired a third time to bond the gold to the piece. It is a labor intensive process that is worth the extra step.

These pieces are individually made by hand from start to finish, and slight variations and organic shapes are what makes them perfectly unique. Each dish is made with a real dandelion and further carving is completed by hand, making each dish as unique as a fingerprint.
