Paint Palette Jewelry Holder, Ceramic Dish with Gold Accents
A perfect gift for the painter in your life. A playful and colorful jewelry holder inspired by an artist's paint palette, handcrafted, glazed and fired in my studio. A ceramic white artists palette is decorated with gold accented paint colors. it can be used to hold jewelry, for mixing paints, or as a paintbrush rest.
This paint palette ceramic dish is made from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and high-fired once more at approximately 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. The paint patterns are created by the imprints of tiny Nasturtium leaves that are then colored red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. The glaze is a soft glossy finish with beautiful natural variations found in a kiln fired finish. The palette is accented with real 22kt gold that is applied by hand and fired in the kiln to bond the gold to the ceramic.
This jewelry holder is handmade from start to finish, entirely by me in my California studio, a labor of love that I hope will bring light and joy into your home.

Slight variations and organic shapes in handcrafted ceramics are what make them perfectly unique pieces of art.
