White Dandelion Seed Head, with 22kt gold accents
The white dandelion represents innocence and purity as well as healing and recovery. The dandelion and its floating seeds are a powerful symbolism of freedom and boundlessness. This small ceramic dish is perfect for small jewelry, trinkets, a special ring, or an incense cone. The ceramic dish is imprinted with a real dandelion with seeds floating into the sky. The dandelion is enhanced with hand-carving. The rim is accented with real 22kt gold.
This dandelion ceramic dish is made from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and high-fired once more at approximately 2100 degrees Fahrenheit. The glaze is a glossy warm white with the beauty of a high fired ceramic, showing off the intricate detail of the dandelion seed head which has been enhanced with delicate carving and coloring of the clay. A real 22kt gold overglaze is applied and then fired a third time to bond the gold to the piece. It is a labor intensive process that is worth the extra step.
Measurements: Approximately 5 inches wide
These pieces are individually made by hand from start to finish, and slight variations and organic shapes are what makes them perfectly unique. Each dish is made with a real dandelion and further carving is completed by hand, making each dish as unique as a fingerprint.
