Large Periwinkle-Blue Hydrangea Leaf Jewelry Holder, Ceramic Dish with Gold Accents
This lovely ceramic leaf is a mix of periwinkle, purple, and blue, sparkling with accents of real 22kt gold. The beautiful organic leaf shape and intricate details are created from a real Hydrangea leaf from my own garden. The gold edge is textured.
This jewelry holder is made from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and kiln-fired once more at approximately 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. The glaze is a glossy translucent mix of soft periwinkle, blue purple, and pink achieved by delicate layers of hand painting. Real 22kt gold accents are added in a special process for ceramics and the piece is fired a third time in the kiln.
This jewelry holder is handmade from start to finish, entirely by me in my California studio. Each piece is a labor of love that I hope will bring light and joy into your home.
Measurements:
Approximately 8 inches long and 5 inches wide. Each piece is made completely individually from an actual leaf.
