Bumble Bee Fairy Garden Jewelry Holder, Rectangular Ceramic Dish with Gold Accent
Bumble bees are the focused, productive, and patient presence among the plants and flowers. They are the sign of a thriving and harmonious garden. This cute little bumble bee is sculpted by hand, busy at work among beautiful impressions of real leaves, lavender, fennel, and a pink daisy on this kiln fired ceramic jewelry tray. Real 22kt gold accents the rim on this one-of-a-kind ceramic piece.
This ceramic dish is made from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and kiln-fired once more at approximately 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. The glaze is a glossy soft clear. The ceramic is then carefully hand-painted and kiln fired.
Real gold is applied to the ceramic dish in a special process designed for ceramics, and the piece is fired a third time to bond the gold. It's a labor-intensive process with a beautiful result.
Measurements: Approximately 4.5x5.5 inches in size
Slight variations and organic shapes in handcrafted ceramics are what make them perfectly unique pieces of art.
