Rainbow Hummingbird Ornament
When I'm watering plants in my garden, hummingbirds love to come fly in the mist of the water - as the spray sparkles with sunlight, the hummingbirds are like little rainbow fairies darting between the droplets.
These little hummingbirds are small pieces of art you can hang on a plant, on your holiday tree, or in your window. Celebrate an ornament made in the careful and detailed way ornaments were made before mass production. This ornament features a tiny hummingbird; each is a slightly different subtle mix of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet. This special ornament is individually sculpted kiln-fired ceramic, a miniature art piece, with real 22kt yellow gold adding a bit of sparkle.
The gold is fired onto the ornament in a special process for precious metals so that it bonds permanently with the ceramic. Measures approximately 3 inches from beak tip to wing tip.
