Pink Blossom Jewelry Holder, Ceramic Dish with Gold Accents
Flower blossoms are full of symbolism, communicating emotions and love without words. Flowers have always had deep meaning through time, whether it's daisies symbolizing cheerfulness and joy, hydrangeas reminding us of the childhood gardens we played in, or forget-me-nots symbolizing devoted love and remembrance.
This piece is a sprinkle of delicate pink hydrangea florets, made with real hydrangea flowers, each placed carefully to create this beautiful dish. I love the delicate patterns and textures of each petal.
This ceramic dish is made from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and high-fired once more at approximately 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. The flowers are imprinted from real flowers, and the dish is then hand painted with different shades of pink. The glaze is a glossy soft clear.
Real gold is applied to the rim and among the flowers, and the piece is fired a third time to bond the gold. It's a labor-intensive process but gives this magical, fairytale garden result.

Slight variations and organic shapes in handcrafted ceramics are what make them perfectly unique pieces of art. Please allow variation in the colors and patterning, as each is made completely individually
