Rainbow Frog Jewelry or Incense Holder, Ceramic Dish
Rainbow frog is back by popular demand! This cute little frog is sure to inspire smiles and joy in your home. This frog jewelry dish is one of a kind art piece - handcrafted, glazed and fired in my studio. A fun-loving frog figurine sits on a sparkling rainbow lily pad creating a peaceful little spot for your rings, earrings, other jewelry, or incense cones.
Frogs symbolize transformation, rebirth, and renewal - they also embody a silliness and joy of life. This cute little frog and his rainbow lily pad capture it all in one adorable dish.
This jewelry dish is made from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and high-fired once more at approximately 2100 degrees Fahrenheit. The ceramic dish is imprinted with an actual leaf and then handpainted with rainbow underglazes and fired in the kiln. A 22kt real gold overglaze is applied and then fired a third time to bond it to the piece. The glazed finish is a glossy warm white, with beautiful natural variations found in a high fired finish.
This jewelry and incense holder is handmade from start to finish, entirely by me in my California studio, a labor of love that I hope will bring light and joy into your home.

Slight variations and organic shapes in handcrafted ceramics are what make them perfectly unique pieces of art.
