Pear necklace, porcelain pendant with 22kt gold accents
Beautiful yellow pear necklace, made of the finest porcelain and sparkling with a touch of real 22kt yellow gold. The pear is an ancient symbol of love, and the goddesses of Roman and Greek mythology saw pears as sacred. Pear pendants have been classic feminine jewelry through the centuries.
This pear pendant is sculpted from porcelain, carefully handpainted and fired to over 2200 degrees F. The pear looks and feels almost like marbled stone, with the bright translucent that can only be achieved with porcelain. Real gold is added to the pear leaf and stem by a special process, and the piece fired a third time to bond the gold to the ceramic.
The pear pendant measures almost one inch long. A gold plated bail is attached to the pendant and a complimentary 18-inch 2-mm-thick gold-plated chain in included, all in a small gift box.
