The individual flowers are beautiful purple trumpets and the leaves are delicate and fern-like. The leaves and flowers of jacaranda have a beautiful form that is captured in this ceramic dish.
This ceramic jewelry holder is handmade from start to finish with real jacaranda flowers and leaves, creating a special spot for your rings, earrings, other jewelry, or incense cones.
This ceramic dish is made from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and high-fired once more at approximately 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. The flowers are imprinted from an actual jacaranda flowers and leaves and then handpainted with shades of purple and green. The glazed surface is a soft glossy finish.
Real 22kt gold is applied to the flowers and rim in a special process designed for ceramics, and the piece is fired a third time to bond the gold. It's a labor intensive process with a beautiful result.
