Large Pink Dairy and Lavender Ceramic Jewelry Dish with Two Bumble Bees
Bumble bees are the focused, productive, and patient presence among the plants and flowers. They are the sign of a thriving and harmonious garden. These cute little bumble bees are sculpted by hand, busy at work among beautiful impressions of real flowers and leaves on this high fired ceramic jewelry dish. The rim organically ripples back and forth and is accented with real gold.
This ceramic dish is made from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and high-fired once more at approximately 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. The glaze is a glossy soft clear. The piece is imprinted with actual daisy and lavender flowers and leaves from my garden, and then hand-painted with shades of green, purple, and pink underglazes. Accents of real 22kt gold are fired onto the dish in a special process for ceramics.
Measurements: Approximately 6.5 inches wide
Slight variations and organic shapes in handcrafted ceramics are what make them perfectly unique pieces of art.
