Frogs in Love, Ceramic Jewelry Dish with Gold Accent
Tiny frogs in love! These two cuties are floating around this sparkling lily pond in a tiny leaf boat. Guaranteed to inspire a smile wherever you place it. The ceramic jewelry dish is imprinted with a real leaves and the rim is accented with real gold. The "lily pads" are small nasturtium leaves, and the boat is a small hydrangea leaf.
This ceramic jewelry dish and frog sculptures are made in one piece from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and high-fired once more at approximately 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. The glaze is a glossy warm white with the beauty of a kiln fired ceramic, showing off the intricate detail of the leaf. Real 22kt yellow gold is applied to the "pond", the little leaf boat, and the rim - and then fired a third time to bond the gold to the piece. It is a labor intensive process that is worth the extra step.

This jewelry dish is individually made by hand from start to finish, and slight variations and organic shapes are what makes each perfectly unique.
